Please follow the below steps to copy windows to the hdd and install from there works for windows 7 through 10

1. Run Diskpart and prepare the drive
diskpart

list disk

select disk 0

clean

create partition primary

active

format fs=ntfs quick

assign x

exit

2. Make your Drive Bootable
X:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt60 X:

3. Copy your windows setup files from your usb to the hdd
xcopy d:\ x:\ /h/i/c/k/e/r/y

4. change directory back to your hdd
cd x:\

5. run setup.exe

6. enjoy
